This article reviews the structure of investment proposals by the criterion of reliability of evaluation data. Based on the results of the review of types and fields of investment the idea of incomplete and garbled interpretation of a number of investment projects is argued. Knowledge-intensive investment projects able to provide a long-term synergetic effect are erroneously considered as unattractive under conventional evaluation methods, which requires for new evaluation procedures taking into account possibilities for cooperation of investors and concentration of resources.
