In the study possibilities of using the balanced scorecard (BSC) to assess progress in the implementation of investment strategies regions are discussed. The application of the main elements of the BSC – prospects, strategic map, leading and lagging indicators is proved. Typical strategy map of the regional investment strategy objectives is offered and the indicators describing their achievement are indentified.
